AL West Preview – Texas Rangers
Texas Rangers had a great 2009 season finishing second in the AL West only to Angels with a record of 87-75. They produced 784 Runs and ranked Second for Home Runs with a score of 224 and Tenth in RBI for total 784 Runs.
The Rangers will charge back with even higher numbers this season if Josh Hamilton stays away from Injuries and remains healthy this year. Texas team has best hitters in their team including Josh, Ian Kinsler, Michael Young, Nelson Cruz. Vladimir Guerrero has been the most devastating hitter in previous season and after their acquisition the Rangers are expecting the same magic from him on their side. On the pitching front the team has a got a good share of players including the newly acquitted Rich Harden and star players like Tommy Hunter and Scott Feldman.
The Defense players includes the mighty Frank Francisco the super saver for last season and others like Dustin Nippert, Darren O’Day and C.J. Wilson. By this steps the rangers have all their forty team members signed for the current 2010 season.
The Texas Rangers has found a new owner headed by Greenberg and Ryan. The Agreement was signed on January 22, 2010, for approximately $550 Million.
To Sum it up Texas Rangers have the best Offensive Playing technique however they lag behind with their Pitching Staff.
However With a new Owner Group and the Fit Players the team is recharged and all set to break their previous records and set to win their first Division title since 1999.
