NL East – NY Mets

Last year in 2009 during the final season, the NY Mets were out of the World Series. But this year there aren’t any reasons for the team to be pessimistic. They have started pumping up for 2010. Jason Bay has signed up a 4 year deal this year. Moreover, Jose Reyes the team’s heartthrob has recovered from his injuries and is looked up to be the most exciting player this season.

The team has quite a few options this season on which it can rely for its winning performance. Bay is the right answer for the Mets this year. It is expected that he is the right player for the offensive production. But of course, he cannot be the savior. As a whole, the Met team needs Reyes, Wright and Beltran to keep healthy and give the team all that it requires. The NY Met have the finest players this year and easily can produce historical score levels.

There are many speculations made on the good looking player Oliver Perez for this year‘s game 2010. Oliver Perez’s right knee which needed a surgery was spoiling his playing worth last year. The Met team members know that Perez is a ‘big yes’ for the team.

Beltran was injured in the knee last year late June, but this year it’s not the time for him and will miss the first month of the games. The manager of the team has selected Reyes for batting at the 3rd position, while for the center field Gary Matthews Jr and Angel Pagan will have to compete.
